This place is insanely good, it's no wonder there's always a line to the door whenever I go there.
The food is delicious and the portions are huge. So far I've only had the BBQ beef combo and the chicken katsu plate, and both were extraordinary; I easily had enough for two meals.
There isn't a ton of seating inside but that's okay, they do well with what they have, and they bust their humps to keep the line moving. I've been here several times and have no intention of stopping, it's an excellent place for lunch or dinner! -

I'm updating my review, from 3 to 5 stars. They are absolutely doing everything right this time around. The food today is fresh and delicious! We ordered the noodle special, chicken combo, and spam masubi.

I have to be really honest, as much as I like the variety and diverse foods this joint offers. The food was lacking tonight. Are they under new ownership or new cSeems like the food was prepared very differently this time. My macaroni salad had hordes of onion in it. And the dinner Plate that my son and I usually share, was half the serving it usually is. The chicken Katsu was soggy, and the barbecue chicken was liking biting into rubber. I swear my son is going to turn vegetarian after this visit -

It wasn't the best poke I've ever had, but not bad at all. The main difference about this poke place is the set up. Every poke place I've ever been to has always had a setup similar to subway (come in, tell them what you want as they're making your bowl, and then pay). I found it a little odd that they charged first, especially since they charge for extra add ons (as most do). When I ordered he didn't ask if I was planning on getting add ons or if I wanted a drink so I ended up having to make two transactions because I forgot (was mostly caught off guard that I was paying before telling them what I wanted in my bowl). Anyway, I feel like this method was less efficient and causes employees to waste more time by running back and forth to charge customers, call numbers, make bowls, etc. just something to think about.
Anyway, they had all the things you'd expect at a poke place including pineapple and all the other random toppings. It was a pretty large serving! Good value. -

Vibe: Small family Asian restaurant style with very delicious food! Has some interesting decorations on the walls with different types of fish which was a little random. Overall feels homely and cozy.
Food: I got the chicken katsu and the portions are huge! Three layers of katsu, tons of macaroni and rice. Katsu is very crispy and the chicken itself was juicy and reminded me of hainan chicken just fried. Sauce complemented the katsu real well and the macaroni was creamy and yummy too.
Service: I was recovering from my night shift and was jumbling my words but they were patient with me and got my order exactly right. They brought out the food to me which was also cool of them.
I love this place, it reminds me a lot of Ono Hawaiian BBQ but with much better portions. Pricing is on point too my katsu plate was only $10.75
Thank you! -

For a small little restaurant in between a bunch of stores, Halos delivers huge variety. I have probably ate here more than any human should, so probably over 30 times, and every time the food is amazing. A large menu to pick from, and nothing is anywhere near the stereotype of eating seafood this far inland. My only complaint I could think of would be no delivery service, that way I could eat it more often highly recommend the plates, enough food to last you 2 or 3 meals!
